There are no shortage of fast food restaurants in the State of New York and the northeast in general, but let’s be honest, most of them are the same old, same old places we have been going to for years.

You know, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc. Don’t get me wrong, those places are popular and I visit from time to time but there are a lot of popular fast food places that have not made their presence yet in New York.

Having visited Kentucky and Tennessee last fall, I can safely say that we in the northeast can step up our fast food game and one of the most popular fast food chains in the south is about to expand with locations in the northeast, including New York State.

According to The Real Deal, fast food chicken and breakfast restaurant, Bojangles will be opening up 10 locations soon in New Jersey, mainly in the Tri-State region.

That’s not all either. This is just the start of Bojangles making a presence in the northeast, including New York State.

The plan is to also open up locations on Long Island and in Queens in the coming months.

Hopefully, this also means Bojangles locations will be coming to the rest of New York State; such as Central and Western New York.

If you’re unfamiliar with Bojangles, they specialize in chicken sandwiches, biscuits and breakfast sandwiches. They’re easily one of the best fast food establishments I’ve ever been to and thus northeast expansion is a long time coming.
