CBS Is Bringing Back Classic Sunday Night Movies In May
With more and more people staying home during the coronavirus pandemic the need for some kind of escape has never been more prevalent than now. Obviously, we have a lot of choices when it comes to home entertainment. We have Netflix, HULU, Amazon Prime and lots of on-demand options, but what about good old broadcast TV Networks?
CBS is bringing back some beloved classic movies for their Sunday night movie feature. The reason is two-fold. One, people need some additional options for some movie escapism during this trying time. The other reason is that due to everything being shut down because of the coronavirus tv shows are being cut short on episodes. Most of these movies are the kinds that if you're flipping around and you run across one of these you're hooked no matter when in the movie you come in. At least that's how I am.
According to the articles on www.vanity.com. “It’s a five-week programming event with epic films, iconic stars and brilliant stories that viewers love…and love to watch together,” said Noriko Kelley, executive vice president of program planning and scheduling for CBS Entertainment.
Here's the full schedule for May on CBS.
