
NFL Legend Bill Parcells Makes A Local Capital Region Dining Stop
Legendary National Football League (NFL) coach Bill Parcells was recently spotted enjoying a meal in the Capital Region. What brings "the Big Tuna" back to the area and where was he spotted? Here's everything we know.
Bill Parcells spent time as the head coach of the New York Giants, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and the Dallas Cowboys between 1983 and 2006. Parcells won 2 Super Bowls as head coach of the New York Giants, 1986 and 1990. Since 2011 Parcells has been an active Thoroughbred owner and breeder based in Saratoga Springs.

Bill Parcells races his horses under the name August Dawn Farm, which is based in Saratoga Springs. Parcells, with a lot of help from his prized filly Maple Leaf Mel, achieved more than 50 victories. So it is no surprise to see coach making then rounds in Saratoga.

According to an Instagram story shared by Noah's Italian, Bill Parcells visited the downtown Saratoga Springs restaurant, at 43 Phila Street, to enjoy some classic Italian fare. Chef Noah Frese captioned the photo with "Honored to serve a legend tonight."
