Road rage incident leads to stabbing.
Two individuals have been arrested in Broome County following a road rage incident that resulted in the stabbing of one victim. What could have happened that would enrage someone to the point of stabbing another human being?

We have all been in situations while driving that upset and anger us. Someone cuts you off, vehicle is following too closely from behind you, traveling the speed limit or slower in the passing lane. All of these scenarios and more will test your patience, but to stab someone?
On Tuesday November 4th at approximately 8:30pm, Troopers from State Police out of Binghamton responded to a report of a stabbing that occurred on State Route 26 in the town of Nanticoke.
Troopers investigated and learned that a road rage incident between two vehicles escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in a 40-year-old male victim being stabbed. The victim reported that an unknown male and female exited their vehicle. The female is accused of grabbing the victim by his sweatshirt, while the male is accused of stabbing the victim in the upper body.
The victim and his passenger were able to flee the area and later called 911. The victim was transported to Wilson Hospital for treatment; his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
On Wednesday November 5th, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Binghamton arrested 20-year-old Ashton M. Pratt, and 30-year-old Amy Lynn Mills, of Glen Aubrey, NY. They were charged with:
- Assault in the First Degree
- Assault in the Second Degree
