It would be nice if you could just go through life without worrying about anything, but as Capital Region residents detail there is a lot on their minds.

In 2024 it would shock me to talk to anyone who doesn't have a little but of anxiety about things going on in their day-to-day life. Whether it's putting food on the table, costly home or auto repairs, or just making it from paycheck to paycheck, the people in the Capital Region say they've got a lot to worry about.

Who among us can comfortably say they're completely comfortable with life at the moment is probably lying.

So what is your biggest worry? We decided to ask people from the Capital Region what worries them to most about living in this area.

Nearly 100 comments and it is clear that we here in the Capital Region are feeling some sort of anxiety on a daily basis.
"Finding my retirement home while not paying a fortune. I already own a home, not an ideal location but have a few years before I can get out of the country and back into a cute town. Sadly a lot of town home prices are in the 700k on up." - Pamela

"To rent a room place with 1 income with 2 kids.. and putting one of them through college" - Kelly

"Worried that our tax money is being wasted bc the roads r trash gotta duck n dodge pot holes yet we r one of the most highly taxed areas in the country like where the heck does all the money go" - Mark

"The division amongst people on Facebook due to difference of opinions not being respected that translates into real life relationships" - Jay
"Having a job and not being able to afford your own place." - Heather
Some of the most common answers we got was "taxes." I think that is a major worry for so many because it is out of your control. Your property taxes could go up at any time, and at the end of the tax season might owe and you haven't planned for that.
With kids going back to school, a lot of folks said that was also something on their mind.  Will they be able to get the school supplies they need?
