Their employees won't make unexpected visits to your home, snap photos of your bills, or push you to sign up for services or discounts. They also won't ask for payment via prepaid debit cards or other non-refundable methods.

These scams come in various forms, like threats of service disconnection unless immediate payment is made, requests for cash or prepaid cards to cover meter costs, or claims of payment glitches requiring additional payments.
