Fall is my favorite season in the Capital Region for typical reasons: the foliage, apple and pumpkin picking, and cider donuts. The Capital Region also knows how to scare and entertain during Halloween. One place in Saratoga County does it best, but they aren't waiting until October.

Why wait until October? Double M’s 2nd annual Halfway to Halloween is happening Friday and Saturday, May 16th & 17th (rain date May 18th), packed with frights.

Which Scary Movie Will Be Shown?

Settle in under the stars for a screening of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)—the classic slasher where camp counselors at Camp Crystal Lake learn (the hard way) why some places should stay abandoned. Oh, and don’t get too comfortable… Double M’s creatures will be lurking in the crowd.

Double M Will Also Have Haunted Houses

Once the credits roll, the real terror begins. First, you’ll stumble upon a twisted family living deep in the woods, ready to make trespassers their next victims. If you make it out, you’ll head straight into Camp Crystal Lake, where counselors are trying to reopen the camp. But Jason? He has other plans.

Here Are All The Scary Details:

🎃Tickets: $30, limited quantity, online only (non-refundable)

🎃Gates open at 7:30 p.m.; movie starts at dusk—bring a blanket or chair

🎃The concession stand is open, but no outside food, drinks, or alcohol are allowed

Rated R: Under 17 needs an adult (21+), kids under 6 not permitted—bring ID

The Haunted hayride will not be running.

Think you’re brave enough? Get your tickets before they disappear.
