Another Name to the Animal Abuse Registry
We can add another name to the list of registered animal abusers in Upstate New York after a disturbing video showed a man in Albany, New York setting a pitbull puppy on fire a few weeks back.
The Albany Police say Christopher Maxwell, a 34-year-old from the Bronx, is facing animal cruelty charges after they found a dead dog inside a crate in the area of Fourth Avenue and Franklin Street in Albany back on February 24th.
Maxwell, according to the police, neglected the female pitbull puppy for days without food and water before bringing it to a parking lot in Albany where Ring cameras caught the despicable act in the early morning hours on February 23rd.
According to the police report, "he took the dog, still in the crate, to a parking lot in the area of Fourth Avenue and Franklin Street, poured lighter fluid over the crate and the dog, and set it on fire."
