There's no question they've been an elite team in the NFL for years.  But the Buffalo Bills have fallen tantalizingly close in recent years, adding to the angst of a franchise and fan base desperate for a title.

Is this the year the blue-collar version of America's team busts through and finally wins a Super Bowl?

The die-hard legion of fans known as the "Bills Mafia" surely hopes so, and if there was ever a fanbase worthy of a legit Super Bowl contender, it's them.

It's The Start of the NFL Playoffs

The NFL Playoffs kick off this weekend with six games in the Wildcard Round, and the Bills are in the middle of it, with a 1 pm kickoff on Sunday versus the Denver Broncos at Highmark Stadium.

Where do you plan on checking out the game?  Some might say the best place to watch football is on the big screen in your home, but those people haven't watched a Bills game at an actual "Bills Backers" Bar.

We polled our WGNA Facebook page to find the best sports bar in the Capital Region where the game is always on, and Bills fans can feel welcome.

There are quite a few places, including Albany, Clifton Park, Troy, Colonie, Malta, Saratoga, and Hudson Falls, and we think we have found some of the best Bills Backers Bars east of Buffalo.
