Capital Region Looks To Shine During New York Bartender Week
Despite not being connected to one of the largest cities on earth, Albany, New York has it's own vibrant culture, visibly distinct from it's southern neighbor, NYC.
A major part of that is the area's nightlife scene, which hosts some of the most unique and special bars and clubs in New York State. In November, they'll show them off at one of New York's most special statewide events.

New York Bartender Week
Across the state of New York, bars everywhere are prepping to show what they've got. The week runs November 17th through the 23rd, and will feature bars and distilleries from every corner of the state.
Each bar will create their own signature cocktail to celebrate and honor the state of New York, incorporating at least one spirit produced here. The hope is that this event will spur tourism to lesser-travelled parts of the state, and show off state pride and boost economic and tourism development.
Capital Region Inclusions
The Capital Region will have three participating bars and two producers for this year's Bartender week:
Bars
- Klocke Estate in Claverack
- The Night Owl in Saratoga Springs
- Whiskey Pickle in Troy
Producers
- Second Act Spirits in Amsterdam
- Klocke Estate in Claverack
You may be familiar with one or all of these, but during the week of the event, they'll be a must-visit attraction here in the Capital Region. Whether you're a regular or new to the area, New York Bartender Week is the perfect time to get out, and reexperience the Capital Region.
