National Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Watch And Advisories

The National Weather Service has issued several weather advisories as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for areas in the Adirondacks and Southern Vermont with 5 to 10 inches of snow possible.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the western edge of the Capital Region, the Mohawk Valley, and parts of the Catskills with 2 to 6 inches of snow possible.

According to News Channel 13, the greater Albany area can expect mostly cold rain but that couldAlbany-Weather-2025 change with the final rack of the storm.. Snow and rain is expected to start falling early Thanksgiving and wil last through most of the day. Partly cloudy skies will take over Friday through the weekend with temperatures in the 30s.
