The news has sparked an emotional outpouring on social media, with many expressing sorrow and compassion for those impacted.
"Mental Health is So Important"
On the DOCCS Facebook page, Pauleen Sherman wrote:
“My sincere condolences to everyone involved in this tragedy, especially his family, friends, colleagues, and to the officers and first responders. Mental health is so important, and there is not enough emphasis on getting healthy when in a position that requires so many demanding hours away from family and loved ones. RIP.”
