After what is shaping up to be one of our coldest New York winters in recent memory, the Old Farmer's Almanac has forecast what the weather will bring this spring.
Whether you love or hate winter, nothing helps us emerge from our winter routines like the first stretch of warm spring weather.
But as you know, spring in Upstate New York can be unpredictable. One day, it's 70 degrees and sunny, and the next, it's snowing!

Old Farmer's Almanac Reveals Spring Forecast For New York
We are currently having one of our coldest Januarys in recent memory, and with about 2 months of winter ahead of us, everyone in Upstate New York is wondering if this colder trend will last. The Old Farmer's Almanac says spring will bring relief!
The Almanac released its nationwide spring weather outlook Saturday, and it's favorable for Upstate New York.
In a nutshell, the Almanac says Upstate New York can expect a warm and dry spring.
The temperature outlook for Upstate New York is warmer than normal, rainfall is expected to be normal in April and below average in May, and no major snow is in the forecast.
That all said, this is Upstate New York. So expect and be prepared for anything and hopefully, the spring weather falls in our favor!
