Lake George Village is ready to celebrate this holiday season with the annual “Lite up the Village” event.

New York State has just granted Lake George Village ten million dollars to revitalize and enhance the downtown area. Lake George was the latest winner of New York State's Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

The holidays are just around the corner and we are getting more information about festivals and events throughout Upstate New York. This event will mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of its dazzling lights throughout the village.

Last fall, it was announced that there would be a hotel built on a legendary property in Lake George Village. Those plans have changed and the owners have decided to turn the property into condominiums.

At one time there were one thousand Howard Johnson's restaurants across the United States and one standing in Lake George Village.

It is one of the most anticipated events of the holiday season. Lake George will "Lite Up The Village" this Saturday, November 26th starting at 5:30. The village will have live music, parades, fireworks, and more.

A big change could be coming to a well-known hot spot in Lake George Village. King Neptune's Bar & Grill will be reimagined. What will it turn into? The owners are thinking of changing things up in a big way.
