Summertime in Lake George is a special time. The weather is warm, the days are long, and there's always something fun to do. One of my favorite annual traditions is Rock the Dock, a concert series that takes place right on Lake George.

Help raise money for the Animal Protective Foundation at the Capital Region's largest fundraising festival-- Woofstock! Complete with a walkathon and music festival.

There is a new place to hang out in Saratoga Springs with an alternative vibe and everyone is welcome. It's a unique bar downtown on Caroline Street.

When everyone was dealing with the pandemic, especially restaurants, many cities came up with innovative ideas to keep the industry running. Cohoes created a brilliant plan to bring restaurants to the people. They started "Eat in the Street". Because it was so successful, they are continuing it this year.

A Buffalo bar challenged Governor Cuomo's rules on live music and won.

This pandemic has not been an easy one to handle, particularly for event and music venues.  And one local spot in Albany is up for sale. The Fuze Box is up for sale.  According to what I read on the Times Union, the building- full of musical history- is listed at $244,900 (in case you're interested)...
