WellNow Urgent Care look to help the Capital Region and beyond with new health care facilities and approximately 300 new jobs in the area.
At the very beginning of this year I took a side job to help a friend and put extra money in my pocket. This job had me going literally door to door, business to business, shaking hands and making small talk with hundreds of people over a month long period. Clearly this was before the pandemic hit hard so I didn't give it another thought. Wearing a mask never even crossed my mind.
As fate would have it I got really sick and I am certain turning all of those doorknobs with my bare hand had something to do with it. I never get sick! So there I was with a fever, cough and all of the grossness that comes with being ill. I was fortunate to find an urgent care facility to give me a prognosis and 6 weeks later I was feeling better.
Many people today don't have a job and therefore may not have insurance but when we are not feeling well, we need care. WellNow continues to be here for New Yorkers today and in the coming months.
