Sports jerseys: you wear them, you hang them in your man cave, and most importantly, you talk about them.

If you're a fan of a sports team, you know exactly what your "favorite jersey" is. Maybe you're a Yankees' fan, and you love the classic pinstripe design. You could be a Red Sox fan, and look forward to the days when the alternate red jerseys are brought out. Or, you could be a Jets' fan, and the color green could turn you a similar shade of green.

That being said, for every favorite sports jersey, there's a jersey that fans like the least.

With this in mind, we went back through history, and took a look at the many jerseys that New York sports teams have worn throughout the years. We didn't take a look at the classic home and away jerseys, though, we went a step further. Instead, we looked at the many alternate, special event, holiday and other random jerseys that teams have added to their rotation throughout the years.

These jerseys brought back memories, both good and bad, about the teams and players that wore them, and the seasons where they were worn. Some were worn by teams who played for championships, while others were donned by teams who were competing for high draft picks.

You'll know exactly which ones were which when you see them.

So, we put together a list of ten jerseys that caught our eyes, either for good or bad reasons, and included them below. Do you love these special New York jerseys, or despise them?
